work at Loyola University of Chicago to obtain his Orthodontic specialty and complete a Masters of Science degree (1973-75).
In the interim, he has achieved his Orthodontic Board Certification. Dr. Gaudry has been practicing Orthodontics since 1975.
Prior to this, Dr.
Gaudry received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University of New Orleans in 1969. During dental school, he
was elected to OKU Honorary Dental Society and C. Victor Vignes Odontological Society (an honorary scholastic dental society).
After graduation and upon entering the US Army Dental Corps, Dr. Gaudry served a dental internship at Walter Reed General
Hospital, Washington, DC, for one year, then was stationed three years at the Second Field Hospital in Bremerhaven, Germany.
He left the army with an honorable discharge, and achieved the rank of major.
Dr. Gaudry practiced
Orthodontics in Metairie, Louisiana for thirteen years. While there, he was very active in the professional organizations,
being president of the Louisiana Orthodontic Association, vice-president of the New Orleans Dental Association, a liaison
for the orthodontic lobby in the state legislature and more.
As his children grew, Dr. Gaudry and his wife began
to look for a more family-oriented community. He moved his family to Boise in 1988, and opened his office in Boise. In 2005,
Dr. Gaudry moved his practice to Meridian and the new Mountain View Orthodontics building.
Today, Dr. Gaudry still enjoys practicing Orthodontics. With great joy, Dr. Gaudry and
his wife welcomed their first grandchild in 2011.
